Day 13 Canoeing and visit a Batwa community.
We begin our day with breakfast and then canoe around lake Bunyonyi. You also visit the legendary islands on the lake such as punishment island where Bakiga un married pregnant girls would be abandoned by their family. They would either starve to death or drown in trying to swim to the mainland since few were good at swimming by those days. This would sometimes be used as an opportunity by fisher men or poor men who could not afford the regular bride price to get women. In the evening, you have an option to visit the Batwa community. This is one of the endangered species of people today. They are mainly fruit gatherers and occupy forest areas.
Day 14 (Optional) Transfer to Bwindi or Kisoro
Very early in the morning, you will be transferred to either Bwindi impenetrable Forest or Kisoro into Mgahinga Gorilla Park depending on which activity you are interested in.

In Bwindi forest, you track mountain gorillas and will be allowed a full hour with them after walking for about one to six hours. This is one of the most over whelming experiences on earth. To know more, please read about gorilla tracking.
In Mgahinga, you either do golden monkey tracking or hike one of the three volcanoes which include;
Mountain Gahinga which takes six hours to ascend and descend, Mountain Muhavura takes about eight hours whereas Mountain Sabinyo takes about eight hours.
However most of our clients prefer hiking Mountain Sabinyo because it is shared by three countries, Uganda, Rwanda and Democratic Republic of Congo. At the summit of the and final peak, you can put your right hand in Uganda, left hand in Congo one foot in Rwanda and the other in no man’s land. It is suitable for those who are not afraid of heights.
For golden monkey tracking, you may walk for one to six hour depending on where the monkey will be onthat day. They are normally not hard to find. Having encountered them, you will spend a full hour with them.
